In this week's episode of Digging Deeper, the News' Nicola Ceccato looks at the teacher shortage crisis and whether it's improved for schools like Greater Shepparton Secondary College in the past 12 months as they prepare to kickstart the new school year.
Nicola chatted with GSSC Executive Principal Barbara O'Brien on the various initiatives they've implemented, from state government support to their internal systems and how it's benefited the school in the past year.
She also chats with former GSSC student and school captain Bethany Gray who is getting ready to embark on the start of her teaching career in the region following her involvement in different programs to prepare her for the transition.
