On the passing of legendary Meath commentator Brendan Cummins, we return to late September 2017 and the day he retired as LMFM Head of Sport, when he joined Gerry Kelly on Late Lunch to reflect on his life and career in broadcasting. There was also a surprise or two in store for Brendan, as some really special people dropped by to pay tribute to the great man!

It's fifty years today, January 27th 2025, since the death of Mother Mary Martin, foundress of the Medical Missionaries of Mary, a dynamo of a woman, who achieved so much in her lifetime and whose legacy endures here in Ireland and around the world. To mark this special anniversary, Mother Mary is once more honoured with the unveiling of her new statue at Boyle O'Reilly in Drogheda, adjacent to the wonderful hospital she founded all those years ago.
